Smart City & Smart Utilities
Energy Independence
A well-designed power supply system and modern control of the energy balance of receivers can make devices completely energy independent.
We use specially designed photovoltaic panels and mini wind turbines along with a whole set of sensors and control modules that respond to the state of individual subsystems in real-time. If necessary, they are put into reduced energy mode or even turned off (if not needed).
As a result, the facility does not have to be equipped with expensive (and sometimes even impossible) external power supply and can be located outside urban areas.
Cloud Communication and Services
Presentation and distribution of timetables on dedicated – low energy and very legible – screens in e-ink technology. Timetables can be updated remotely, either individually or many at once.
Additional functionalities:
- Distribution of ads
- WiFi and local area network advertising (InLab Citybox solution)
- Induction charging of smartphones
In a Smart City, one of the biggest challenges is to manage all the facilities effectively. Having the key subsystems connected to the cloud services, it is possible to monitor their condition and control individual functions with a modern web application.
Security Systems
We take security seriously, which is why our solutions can increase user security.
These include safety buttons enabling automatic communication with the dispatcher, security company or police and vision systems ensuring monitoring of people staying in the vicinity of the building and detection of possible dangerous situations (e.g. fainting, assault).
Lighting is another factor that increases safety. Due to energy independence and lighting system based on sensors and energy saving algorithms, we provide enough light to make people feel safe even after dark.
Behaviour Analysis
Public locations and facilities are often utilized in the advertisement industry. One of the key factors in case of such activities is the analysis of how many people could have received specific information.
With special cameras and Computer Vision technology, incorporating face detection algorithms and human behaviour analysis, it is possible – at least approximately – to evaluate the effectiveness of an advertisement.
Using that technology, it is also possible to detect any untypical behaviour like aggression or accident.
Monitoring and Environmental Protection
Environmental pollution is a huge problem in urban areas, and that is why public utilities are increasingly equipped with sensors to monitor the environmental parameters and evaluate its condition. Our solutions can measure several parameters, including air pollution (PM10 and PM2.5) and others.
Besides, automatically irrigated plants absorb carbon dioxide (and other pollutants) and produce oxygen within the facility.
Information and Music Solutions
Using Computer Vision technologies, it is possible to automatically inform about the oncoming bus and its number for the elderly and visually impaired.
An additional feature of Intelligent Public Facilities is an advanced responsive sound system that can react to the surrounding conditions or the instructions coming from the management cloud and provide adaptive entertainment or relaxation content as well as information and warning solutions.
